VIDUVIER AMAURY (FR)

Coming from an artistic background, Amaury started playing the clarinet at eight. Supported by his clarinetist father, this was for him a revelation. Things go well for this young student: he wins a first competition at twelve, followed by several other prizes. In 2008, he is awarded with the first prize of the Picardie European Music Competition.

He graduates in the CRR of Paris with Richard Vieille and Franck Amet, and then got accepted into the Paris CNSM in 2010, at the age of 19, studying with Pascal Moraguès and Jean-François Verdier.

In 2012, Amaury is laureate of the Yamaha Young Foundation of Europe. He is invited in festivals Messiaen and Deauville to play with as famous artists as Antoine Tamestit, Amaury Coeytaux, Guillaume Vincent, Adrien La Marca, Jérôme Ducros... He is also invited to perform live on France Musique national radio.

Very interested in chamber music, Amaury regularly performs in different groups. Principal clarinet of the University of Paris Orchestra, Amaury is also often invited to play with the prestigious Orchestre de Paris, Orchestre National d'Ile de France, Pasdeloup, Orchestre de Picardie... He was also appointed as a clarinetist in the Garde Républicaine orchestra in 2013.

In April 2014, he is laureate of the prestigious International Debussy Clarinet Competition, where he is awarded with the second prize.
