Marco Antonio Mazzini plays the B45 mouthpiece with the Bb clarinet and the B50 mouthpiece with the bass clarinet. For both instruments, he uses V.12 reeds #3.5


As a recital soloist, concerto soloist, chamber and orchestral musician, clarinetist Marco Antonio Mazzini has performed internationally in such prestigious places as Carnegie Hall (New York), Tama Center (Tokio), Paleis voor Schone Kunsten (Brussels), Bijloke Concert Hall (Gent), Gasteig Cultural Center (Germany), FilmMuseum (Amsterdam), Museo de la Nacion (Lima) and the Paris Conservatory. He has also given master classes and appeared in concert halls in Spain, Luxembourg, Italy, USA, France, Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Peru, Argentina, Bolivia, Mexico, Uruguay, Costa Rica and Guatemala.
In March 2009 he took the position of bass clarinet at the YouTube Symphony Orchestra, after winning the international audition held by YouTube and the London Symphony Orchestra. Marco Antonio was the only musician representing Peru and Belgium in this international musical project. Together with 96 musicians from 33 countries, he performed for the second time at Carnegie Hall with Michael Tilson Thomas as conductor. His international career was awarded by the Peruvian Ministry of Education with a “Golden Chaski” in 2008. 
Recent musical projects includes the wold performance of “Concerto Silvestre”, a clarinet concert commissioned by Mazzini to the Peruvian composer Rafael Junchaya. The piece has been played 17 times so far internationally. He is the founder of the “Orquesta Peruana de Clarinetes”and Kinsa Trio, a young ensemble dedicated to perform music written in Peru in the early XX century.
Marco Antonio is the director of Clariperu, a website dedicated to the clarinet in Spanish that has become a very important community on the Internet. He is currently clarinet teacher at the National Conservatory in Peru and at the Catholic University Music School in Lima. Marco is the Chairman of Peru for the International Clarinet Association.
